In our ad we wanted to show a situation that is very common in many families. This situation directly affects the woman as she is hitted and mistreated by the man, but it also impacs the children who see and live this ill treatment, which makes them grow up frightened since they think these actions are normal. In the ad, a woman can be seen dropping a glass on the floor, which makes the man wrathful. He starts insulting and emotionally abusing her before hitting her. Their child sees this and feels terrified, seeing his mother being abused by his father, which must be very hard to see and live.
Later, at school, the child accidentally drops a toy, so he is ready to be hit, (as it happens in his house). This alarms the teacher who realises that something is wrong. These situations are very common, and there are always signs that should never be ignored. It is crucial to recognize them and take action to help to stop these terrible situation
